MANAGEMENT PROFILES

Jack Penkin – Chief Financial Officer - CA (SA), B.Com (Hons), MCT, ACIS

Jack has over 20 years experience in senior accounting and finance roles in various industries in the UK and Australia.  He is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Cape Town University in 1982.  He spent six years with KPMG in London before moving into commerce and industry.  While Group Treasurer for the previously LSE listed resource company, Watts Blake Bearne & Co PLC (“WBB”), he completed his MCT with the Association of Corporate Treasurers.  At WBB he was responsible for restructuring the Group’s core banking requirements and led the restructuring of the Group’s working capital with a $55 million capital raising via private placement in the US.  Since emigrating to Australia he qualified as a Company Chartered Secretary in 1992 and has acted in this capacity for a number of companies in Australia.

Prior to joining Boabab Resources Jack has worked at Tyco, Macmahon, Downer and Silcar Communications.  Jack brings with him extensive financial and management accounting, project management and costing skills from his experience in resources, engineering and service companies.


Ms. Susan Hunter BCom, ACA, FFSIA (Dip), MAICD (Dip), ACIS (Dip) - Joint Company Secretary

Ms. Hunter has over 13 years experience in the corporate finance industry.  Ms. Hunter holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia majoring in accounting and finance, is a Member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries in Australia.  She is currently the Company Secretary of three Australian Stock Exchange listed companies and several unlisted companies.  She has also been involved in significant company secretarial work for a variety of other companies without formally being appointed Company Secretary.


Mr Jon Crowe – Market Relations Consultant

Jon was a founding Director of Capitol Resources and Baobab Resources. He has been involved in the exploration industry for over twenty years, providing contract field services as the principal of Menzies Exploration Co and prospecting in Australia and southern Africa. He was a Director of ASX-listed Bamboo Gold Mines and a founding Director of AIM-listed Zambezi Resources.
